Mardi Gras Parade - "Seawind Style"
Just a quick background for those with whom we haven't been in contact for awhile. We have been full time RV'ers for almost five years. We live in our RV along with our two
shih-tzu dogs (Pansy and April). We have travelled in all but 4 of the continental United States. Typically, we spend about 3 months or so during the summer at Charleston Marina RV Park in Charleston, Oregon (near Coos Bay) where we keep a boat and fish and crab in the Pacific Ocean. During the winter months we stay in south Texas at SeaWind RV Resort on Baffin Bay (s/w of Corpus Christi). The remaining months we travel around the country. Where we travel depends alot on what the weather is doing. We try to avoid ice, snow, severe thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornados and extreme heat. In spite of our efforts, we have occasionally been confronted with ice, snow and extreme heat in our travels and we have ended up way closer to tornados than we wanted to be! We started out in a 33' Teton fifth wheel trailer with three slide-outs. As of last March, we are living and travelling in a 42' Allegro Bus motorhome with 4 slide-outs.
We hope you enjoy the postings we make along the way. We would enjoy reading any comments you may like to add in the "comments" area.

Hi guys. We just passed one year on the road...they go fast! One of these months, hopefully we'll meet up. We're leaving Titusville, FL on Monday, and will be heading to the Tampa area for a week. Temps in the 80's right now. By mid-May, we'll be in OR, heading for WA. Maybe then? Have safe travels.
Hi, Dad and Ardelle!
Great Blog!!! Looking forward to keeping track of you guys! :^)
Computers are great when they're working properly, aren't they?
All the kids say HI!

Hi Nonnie and Grandpa!
Cool blog! Hope to see new pictures. How is April? Still energetic after her teeth were fixed? I can't wait to see her! Will you be in Oregon for sure this summer? Kacie and I were thinking of visiting.
Love ya,
Kailey
It's really sad when your parents know how to blog and their kid doesn't! Thanks for providing me with a new experience, Cool :-)
Hi Aunt Ardella and Uncle Roger!
What a great way to keep us up to date! Erica and Derek have a blog to show us little Sean's progress too since we only see him about once month. Two grandsons now! Kids are all doing great. Evan's working at Blockbuster in Costa Mesa. Sarah starts a new job this Saturday - Kimberlys Boutique in Belmont Shore. Leah's still working with the zillion dogs a the Pet Set. And they're all in school full time.
John and Lisa are coming for a quick visit in April. Ryan, their oldest is in Marine Boot Camp - Camp Pendleton. We'll all go to the graduation.
Keep in touch - love hearing about your travels!
Love, Beth
Hey Nonnie and Grandpa!
I love the writing in your blogs. It's well written and kind of like a story.
Well, I wanted to come out with Kacie this summer. We really need to find a date that works for both of us. Mom said she hasn't booked anything because she is afraid Aunt Bonnie and Kacie's plans may change. They are coming out here April 8, or sometime close to that. I want to take Aunt Bonnie to the park I ran at today with my track team (9.5 miles- ah!). It is surprising that you can find it here! It's absolutely beautiful. Trees, dirt path, creeks, ponds, deer, frogs, stink bugs, everything! April 6-7 I'm taking mom for mother's day (have to have it early because I have no break in May) for a mother-daughter getaway. I can't give details because she may read this! Well, I can't wait and it will be so much fun!
Love you guys! Have fun traveling and keep me updated. :-D

I thought it was interesting that the headstone with the "good as the rest" had the owner's name bigger than the dog's.
Enjoy the warm weather down there! This morning it snowed in Charleston; yesterday morning the ground turned white with hail!
Hi Roger & Ardelle, Deanna here. Love reading about the two of you. Hey, if you are ever in the Kern Valley, please call us. Would love to see you guys. We miss you. Hey, gymkhana is still going 16 yrs later. But, not the same without you.Put some pictures on here of the two of you. Love, De
Hi Nonnie and Grandpa!
How exciting going on the race track! Mom and I also got a little lost going up to Lake Arrowhead because our GPS (Lola- like in that movie I think is called RV) didn't recognize the new freeway we were on. She kept telling us to do u-turns and things on the the freeway as if it were a regular street!
Well, figuring out the plan to visit you guys is so complicated! I thought it would be an easy thing, but I'm learning! Ha! Kacie has all this horse stuff, Brian and I are going to Dad's and the cruise, and you two are having company for a lot of the time. The latest idea is that Kacie goes for one week, flying from California with me, and I stay a little longer. Where Brian comes in I'm not totally sure. Mom said that Kacie's free week hit his... Well, ya. :-D
Love ya,
Kailey
